Training Philosophy

Will believes successful training is built on understanding, consistency, and a genuine commitment to the dog–handler relationship. His approach emphasizes growth over pressure, focusing on helping dogs learn while empowering owners to feel confident and capable. To Will, dog training is more than a profession—it’s a purpose. His goal is to support dogs and their people one relationship at a time, fostering lasting results through thoughtful, balanced training.

Inspiration

Will’s passion for dog training began in his teenage years while working through behavioral challenges with his own dog. That experience sparked a deep curiosity about canine behavior and motivated him to begin studying training methods through books, courses, seminars, and hands-on practice. What started as a personal challenge quickly became a lifelong calling to better understand dogs and help strengthen the bond they share with their people.

Professional Experience

With over a decade of experience working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, Will pursued formal education through Animal Behavior College and completed an externship in Chicago. Throughout his career, he has worked and volunteered with animal welfare organizations, training facilities, rescues, and working dog programs. His professional background includes private lessons, board-and-train programs, behavior modification, off-leash reliability, protection work, and training both family companions and working dogs. This diverse experience allows him to adapt his approach to a wide range of dogs and training goals.

Training Focus

Will has extensive experience across multiple areas of dog training, including behavior modification, off-leash obedience, protection training, and real-world reliability. He enjoys working with both companion dogs and working dogs, focusing on practical skills that improve everyday life while building trust and confidence. Helping dogs and owners develop clear communication and a strong partnership is central to his work.
